"Things are going fine"

Things were largely fine for the top 15-20% in every single capitalist country in the West for the last ~20 years - even as the rest suffered. White collar professionals are generally the last segments to notice that things are going to hell.

They are a US-backed government like many others. So, they do whatever they are told by their master. Most of the time this ends up screwing up the people of that country. But US corporate interests trample even the American people. They could care less about what happens to Poles.
