There is nothing 'tight' about political science. The foolish poor working class in the US having started calling themselves 'middle class' because they saw 'working class' as something lowly does not make it a valid term, leave aside a political science term. Its just one of the dumb delirium of the US public discourse in which they distort or subvert every term because they get conditioned to religiously oppose the actual, true terms themselves.

The politicians you name are classified as center left politicians in political science and the entire world except the US. The far right in the US having been conditioned like witless fools to see terms like left, socialism, communism etc akin to words like satan, evil, heretic etc does not change actual reality in, well, the world. It just signifies that a large part of the American public are gullible as f*cks.

Left. The term you are looking for is left. Dont be hesitate to call yourself and what you advocate what it is - left. The more you stop calling yourself what you are and instead change what you call yourself depending on how religiously conditioned dumbf*cks say, they will just keep vilifying whatever new term you use to describe yourself and keep you repressed.
