The solution is already present in many other countries outside the US. From Europe to China, where 80% of 30 year olds and 90% of 40+ year olds have their own houses which they bought with their own money and 62% of them are paid out.

Its the difference between societies that make it a race to the bottom for everybody and the societies that limit profit maximizing sociopaths.
