The person whose election promise was ‘nothing will change’ will surely fix things. Just by him existing and being acceptably progressive enough for well-to-do liberals like you things will ‘just’ be okay. Inequality will vanish. Healthcare will stop killing people. Wars will stop. Because he is socially progressive enough and that makes everything okay. Despite him continuing the capitalist economic policies of privatization and the free market of Trump and every single US administration of the last 40 years that made the US into a ruin.

Americans aren’t ‘back’. Centrist progressives of your kind have obtained a paper-thin success in the last presidential election through the pro-people, left-wing policies that were pushed into Biden’s agenda by those like Sanders. Promises, each of which, were unfulfilled, which turned out to be outright lies that the establishment Democrats love to utilize so much. The old English aristocracy style, you know — there are no consequences of lying for the aristocrats, so they just lie freely.

So not only they did not fulfill any promise, but also they pushed World War 3 with a superpower and even antagonized another superpower with whom American trade is so intricately connected. The result is a lightning-quick worsening of the economic conditions for the majority. Who will show their enthusiasm by not appearing in ballot boxes in November regardless of all the fake-progressive alarmism that will be pushed by the Democratic Party to deceive them to vote for the Democrats again. Just like how they ran on Roe v Wade for years but they never even so much as attempted to codify it into law even when they had a supermajority. They are lying. Just to deceive the gullible fools who are sensitive enough to get manipulated. They did it as long as they could, but it doesn’t seem to fly anymore.

So the most hardliner right-wingers will take over Congress. And then the White House. If not next term, the term after that. And with the passing of time, things will get incrementally worse and the extremism will increase. So much that what may come a few elections later may be much worse than Trump and he or she could make him look like a saint.
