Freaking fool. In the past 30 years, there have been dozens of countries which toppled into hellholes precisely like this. In the past century, there has been even more countries which ended up like that through the same dynamics. The very Nazi Germany and every single Interwar fascist country ended up fascist PRECISELY like that.

What makes you think that US is any different. Because it has 'institutions'? Because it has 'balance of powers'? Because it is 'democratic'? Majority of countries which turned fascist had those. And yet they turned fascist, because fascists do not give a fuck about any of those and violate them the moment they gain any power.
