Bullsh*t. Soviets provided every need to everybody until the US and its Gulf Allies mounted a global economic warfare against them in the 1980s. All of these have been happening in the US even as the US sat on top of the world order and economy. Nobody was effecting an economic warfare against the US. The US chose to murder its own people for profit. It was a bad choice. But you can choose your comparisons better.
